GETTING TO BEAVER PONDS

From the intersection of U.S. 285 and Colorado 9 in Fairplay take CO 9 north for ~2 miles to Park County Road 14, a left only turn. Follow 14 for 1.5 miles to Busch Run Road, a left only.  Beaver Ponds is the first drive on the right at the Sacramento Creek Ranch. From Breckenridge, head toward Alma over Hoosier Pass ~ go through the town of Alma and take a right at Park County Road 14.  Take a left on Busch Run Road.  Beaver Ponds is the first drive on your right.

*Please note that Google gets our visitors lost…a lot!  If you search “Beaver Ponds Environmental Education Center” it should get you to our doorstep.

Winters are wonderful at Beaver Ponds.
Here are some upcoming programs and events.

Forest Camp at Beaver Ponds - March Friday Sessions
March 1, 8, 15, 22 - 9am to 1pm
COST: $150 per child for all 4 Fridays
AGES 4-7
A nature immersion camp awakening a sense of wonder and reverence for the natural world.
Forest exploration followed by lunch and nature-inspired art.

SnowSchool at Beaver Ponds
